A domino effect would occur: beautiful ticket collectors would lures the more fashionable people, who would in turn lure the rich people, and then we would finally get the middle classes eager to hobnob with the upper class. Advertisers and high-end boutiques would flock to the subways stations. Once the subways were completely thronged with elites, the prices could be upped, and soon the ayis and migrant laborers would be back bicycling (has anyone noticed how few bikes there are these days, relatively speaking at least?) and walking again.
