A bit over the top for my tastes. Actually, very over the top…
It’s summer. People can dress over the top. But for my taste, the shoes make it a bit clownish.

Is this supposed to look good? How many different patterns has he combined? And the colors are way to crazy
Goodness. The outfit is indeed over-the-top, but that is clearly his intent. The only thing that is “against the rules” is the shoes, but he is certainly entitled to flout convention. I wouldn’t have worn them, but they do pick up the red in the shirt.
Honestly, I love everything but the button. I wouldn’t wear it, but he does and he does it well.
I think combining patterns is very risky… but he really pulls it off (thanks for putting up the detail shot – this shows how well the polka dots and the check particularly work together). But I too am against the shoes – I’m all for one focal point at a time and think black shoes would better allow his tie to stand out in all it’s dotty glory!
