Navy Blazer

Proportions could become a bit over the top in that decade but this piece is most definitely a collector’s item.  The shoulders were roped, the waists heavily suppressed and the double vents cut very high.  This style, so associated with the excesses of the decade, has had a huge influence on menswear since then.

Blue Velvet Jacket

Velvet jackets have enjoyed a huge resurgence in popularity over the last decade, but they first reached the mainstream in the 1970s.  These original YSL pieces are extremely collectible when in such good condition.  The fit is slim and the fabric luxuriant.
