Today Armani opened a gigantic new store in Sanlitun.
Previewing new collections before they reach fashion magazines, Anothermag.com did an exclusive shoot with Chinese supermodel Liu Wen wearing highlights from Spring/Summer 2011 YSL, Chanel, CdG, Lanvin, etc.
Super VC ‘s Zhen Yang (甄洋) must be one of the few people who goes to more parties than me. Check out his blog.

And what a cute pair they are! Ingrid is an editor at a major fashion magazine and Paul is a stylist at Beijing’s premier multi-brand fashion boutique. I was happy to see quite a few “fashion types” at La Ville en Rouge, our party celebrating the launch of Tally Beck Contemporary’s gallery in NYC.

A few stylish young gentlemen came out for the Tally Beck Contemporary party “La Ville en Rouge”. Allen from CCTV was in a nice plum blazer.

The reason I couldn’t make the Tod’s party is that I organized my own event to celebrate the launch of my dear friend Tally Beck’s new gallery in New York. The party also celebrated the launch of the Tally Beck Contemporary Website.
The night was slightly chilly, but the crowd was glamorous and attractive.
Tod’s CEO Diego Della Valle wrote an article for the Huffington Post about his party, An Italian Dream, and his impressions of Beijing.
In a coat from Chinese designer San Kuanz, Freshboy runs a well-known fashion blog. I ran into him at the press event for the first release in Beijing of the Blue Book series by Tiffany and Co. Click here for pictures of the stars attending Tiffany Night, the Gala on Saturday.
At Tod’s, I love this scarf as it appears in front of the Chinese patterned dress.
I didn’t make the eagerly awaited “Italian Dream” Tod’s party, because I had organized my own party, but Suzy was there to photograph there for Stylites. A high-profile event held at fashion square at 798, actresses Zhou Xun and Marisa Tomei were there as well as Tod’s CEO and founder Diego Della Valle. Broadwayworld.com has pictures of the celebrity attendees and the WSJ Magazine has an interesting on Mr. Della Valle and Tod’s in Asia.
At the opening of the new Theory flagship in Sanlitun Village, North, this editor is engaging in what might be called “pragmatic” gender bending – in contrast to conceptual or subversive gender bending. Perhaps pragmatic is not the ideal word.
在美国希尔瑞在三里屯北的开幕式，这个编辑搞的是一种”实用主义“的性别弯曲 – 不是一种很概念行的或者非主流的性别弯曲。
Kan Deng, the Creative Director/Fashion Director at Grazia, switches up the ties and the sport coats, but he has been keeping to a denim shirt the last few times I have seen him. Kan’s styles were picked up when he was in Paris, too.
More stories on the Phillip Lim show at Dongbianmen from Style.com and stylelist.com. These websites really have names like mine.
Come this Friday to the official web launch and celebration event of Tally Beck Contemporary, an art dealership and consultancy specializing in contemporary Asian art. Stylites is a media sponsor.
Fei was at both Phillip Lim events. Here she is in a purple top that she made herself.
